Who the flip is this guy?
My name is Julian Kern and I'm a graphic designer who currently lives in San Jose, California. Working in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator had always been an interest of mine. I made the full leap from traditional art to graphic design when I graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory and began classes at West Valley College in Fall 2015.
Most of my client-based work has been freelance. For the Spring 2017 semester, I joined West Valley College's Campus Activity Board (CAB). I was the advertising coordinator, and created flyers and promotional materials for school events.
I graduated from West Valley College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Web and Mobile Design in Spring 2018. I am currently attending San Jose State University where I plan to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design. The name "Hooligan Wares" stems from two things: a couple friends have jokingly mispronounced my name as "hooligan", and I had planned to sell crafts or "wares" on Etsy. I hope to continue improving my skills and creating the best work possible!
